About Shipra
Licensed manufacturer. Classical formulations. GMP-certified facility. No shortcuts.

Shipra started because we saw a gap that shouldn't exist — Ayurveda is one of the most well-documented medical systems in history, but most products on the market treat it like a marketing label.
We're a licensed pharmaceutical manufacturer. Our formulations come from classical texts — Charaka Samhita, Bhaishajya Ratnavali, Sharangdhara Samhita — not from a trend report. Every product is made in our GMP-certified facility under the supervision of qualified Ayurvedic physicians.
We don't add "Ayurvedic" to a label for shelf appeal. We follow the actual pharmacopoeia. Proper extraction ratios, correct anupanas, tested raw materials. The boring stuff that actually matters.
“The best Ayurvedic medicine is the one made correctly — with the right herb, in the right proportion, at the right time.”
— Adapted from Charaka Samhita, Sutra Sthana
We hold a valid Ayurvedic manufacturing license under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940. Our facility is WHO-GMP certified with regular AYUSH department inspections.
Heavy metal analysis, microbial testing, potency assays — every batch is tested in-house and verified by a third-party NABL-accredited lab before release.
No synthetic actives disguised as herbal. No undisclosed ingredients. No inflated claims. If the classical text says boil for 4 hours, we boil for 4 hours.
We source directly from cultivators and forest cooperatives across India. Ashwagandha from Rajasthan, Shatavari from Madhya Pradesh, Giloy from the forests of Chhattisgarh, Brahmi from Kerala's wetlands.
Every raw material undergoes identity testing (TLC, organoleptic) before it enters production. We reject more than we accept — because what goes in decides what comes out.
We pay fair prices to our suppliers. No middlemen where possible. It costs us more, but it gets us better herbs and keeps farming communities going.
